American Airlines to Resume Venezuela Service

American Airlines is preparing to restart scheduled flights on the Miami-Caracas route. Under the airline’s current plan, services are expected to begin on April 30, subject to the completion of the required approval processes. The route is planned to be operated daily with 76-seat Embraer E175 aircraft.

Once launched, American Airlines will become the first U.S. carrier to resume scheduled service to Venezuela since 2019. The move stands out as a notable step toward restoring air connectivity between the United States and Venezuela after years of limited operations.
